What we wash, and what we don't
We collect your laundry, wash and dry it the way you tell us to, fold it, and bring it back. Here is exactly what goes in the bag, what stays out, and what it costs.
Wash and fold starts at $1.40 a pound.
What is included
- Everyday wash and fold — priced by the pound
- Your detergent — commercial, Tide, Gain, or hypoallergenic
- Bedding and bulky items — comforters, duvets, down bedding, mattress covers, priced per item
- Around-the-house items — bath mats, patio cushions, pet beds
- Pickup and delivery to your door — across DeKalb County and East Atlanta
- Recurring schedules — for households that want the same day every week
What is not included
- Dry cleaning. Timeout does not currently offer it. If an item says dry clean only, keep it out of the bag. We will not risk it.
- Alterations, leather, suede, or wedding gowns. Not services we run.
Saying so plainly is deliberate. You should not find out at the door.
How the weight works
Wash and fold is priced by the pound because that is the honest way to price it. You pay for what you actually send. A typical household load runs eight to twelve pounds. Bedding and bulky items come off the scale and onto the per-item list, so a single comforter never blows up your bill.
Detergent, and why we ask
Most delivery services wash everything in one commercial detergent and never mention it. We ask, because it matters more than people expect: sensitive skin, babies, allergies, or simply the smell you are used to at home.
- Commercial — $1.40/lb, our everyday detergent
- Tide or Gain — $1.65/lb, if that is what you use at home
- Hypoallergenic — $1.75/lb, free of dyes and perfumes
Who this is for
- Households where nobody has a spare evening for four loads.
- Parents who would rather have the hours back.
- Older adults who would rather not carry a basket down a flight of stairs.
- Short-term rental hosts turning linens over between guests.
- Small businesses salons, gyms, studios with a weekly pile and no machine.
